Carbon Laser Facial

How it works

• A fine carbon lotion is applied and left to settle into the pores.
• A laser gently heats and lifts the carbon, which carries oil and surface debris away.
• The warmth also stimulates the skin, which can refine texture over a course.
• It is sometimes called a "black doll" facial because of the carbon layer.

Who it suits — and who it does not

• Oily or combination skin with enlarged-looking pores.
• Dull, congested skin that needs a refresh.
• Mild breakouts, alongside a proper acne plan.
• It is not suitable on sunburnt skin, open wounds or active infection, or during pregnancy. Tell staff about medication, especially oral acne treatment.

What happens in a session

1. The face is cleansed and the carbon layer is applied.
2. You wear eye protection while the laser passes over the skin.
3. You may hear small snaps as the carbon lifts; most clients find it comfortable.
4. The skin is cleansed again, then soothed and protected with sunscreen.

Aftercare

• Use sunscreen daily.
• Keep the routine gentle for a day or two.
• Avoid picking or scrubbing.
