How it works

• Each growth is assessed first to confirm it looks like a common wart or skin tag.
• The growth is removed with a targeted technique suited to its size and location.
• A small mark or scab forms and heals over the following days.
• Because warts are viral, new ones can appear; the branch will advise if a follow-up is needed.

Who it suits — and who it does not

• Common warts and small skin tags on the face, neck, hands or body.
• It is not for moles or any growth that is changing in size, shape or colour, bleeding, or itching. Those must be checked by a doctor first.
• Genital warts and growths very close to the eyes should be seen by a doctor.
• Tell staff about diabetes, bleeding disorders or blood thinners.

What happens in a session

1. The growth is assessed and the area cleansed.
2. A numbing product may be applied.
3. The wart is removed with a targeted technique.
4. The area is cleaned and aftercare is explained.

Aftercare

• Keep the area clean and dry.
• Do not pick at the scab; let it fall off naturally.
• Use sunscreen on the area once healed to avoid dark marks.
• Contact your branch if you see redness spreading, pus or fever.
